Heirtage hose
so awhile back Steve had mentioned, he had some hose available that had odd sized feet compared to the leg. I decided "what the heck, why not"
and fired off an email.
Well they finally arrived and ...WOW
ok, so they're called Heritage Hose for a couple of reasons
1. - They are beefy as hell! These socks aren't as thin and refined as a pair of the mass produced variety. Instead they are rustic and have a slightly knubby quality that I absolutely love.
2.- The color. I went for the charcoal grey and a pair of lovat blue.
Both pairs have a sort of "varigated" or "speckeld" appearance that is spot
on. You know what tweeds are to solid colored kilts? Well that's what these Heritage Hose are to your regular everyday solid colored hose.
Again, rustic is the only way I can describe them.
So, if you're looking for socks that will compliment a casual, daywear, or a country-side styled outfit, then these hose are definately for you.
I know I'll wear mine often.
Thanks Steve

I second all that Cloves has said. I got a pair of the heritage hose when I ordered my kilt last Septmber. They wear and wash great, cold water, gentle cycle, hang dry. The look and feel is much different to regular hose. Now if only they would go on sale......

If they went on sale I'd buy a couple more pairs.
