Purists look away... this is the shape of malt whisky in 2007
FERGUS SHEPPARD MEDIA CORRESPONDENT
IT IS one of the world's most famous single malt whiskies.
But the Macallan is now being trialled as a liqueur in the United States - complete with ingredients such as maple and pecan - in a bid to appeal to upmarket women drinkers.
The new drink, called Amber, is being test marketed across Washington, Denver and Seattle after small-scale trials in Boston.

Thats the worst thing being done to Whisky since they (distillers) started adding water. What next chocolate flavored single malt????

Honestly, If I saw that sitting on someone's counter I would think it was perfume. Not how I would expect to purchase a bottle of scotch.
I'm willing to try anything once. That said, so long as they don't get rid of the real stuff its all good.
