Coincidentally, Nikki want's to paint the house yellow this summer. But, it will be a FARRRR shade from the bright yellow of the "Loud McLeod" tartan.

Nice kilt and nice truck. I like the subtler shads of green in that tartan.

I liked the colors of this tartan, but the sett looks funny to me.

What pleats? Can't see the pleats...you have the kilt on backwards Bradley? My Welch blood is holding out for a Bowen tartan...someday.

Trying not to jones too much for my loud MacLeod semi-trad on order with Rocky and Kelly....

Trying not to be addictive about all this but how do you say no...I've wanted a loud MacLeod since I saw Jimmy Carbomb's way back when.

Hey Bradley, when you stand in front of your yellow house the loud MacLeod will be a camo kilt!

Yes, the pleats are hard to discern in the photo; I had to clicky-pop right up to the largest size of image available before I could make them out. Anyway that looks a really sharp kilt Bradley; goes well with the maroon hose and sweater; congratulations.

The sett "is" funny actually. There are no horizontal stripes (other than the thin checks) in the tartan. Both colours (burgundy and green) run vertical. It's a little twist they did with all of the Welsh tartans.

Oh, if were up to me (and I wasn't monitored by the Mrs.) I'd already have the McLeod on order. I need to dust off my tattoo machines (I only tattoo for extra cash these days) and work my way to that one.

I'll make sure I get some photos of the pleats of my Dewi Sant next weekend.

Can't find a Bowen on my Welsh tartan list - maybe one needs to be designed?

It's already been designed. Bowen is the same as Owen......all those Welsh names have two spellings Evan/Bevan, Rosser/Prosser etc.
Check the Welsh Tartan center McClef, it's there.
