Looking forward to meeting you. Thursday would work great for me. It's St. David's day (something to drink to!) The Argonaut is a nice hotel but it's right in the middle of a major tourist spot. The places Mark recommends are better venues for local atmosphere. I'm always up for Rickenbacker's Saloon. House of Shields usually has live music. The elegant Pied Piper Bar is just across the street in the Palace Hotel. All these are easier get to via BART. Out-of-towners avoid driving into S.F. and Fisherman's Wharf is a difficult trip after work. Pity you'll miss the WonderCon convention the following weekend.
