I had to switch off my Norton firewall, before I could log onto the internet.

The trouble is not in your firewall...it's with Riverkilt and his tendency to wear colors that closely match his surroundings. Remember the disappearing tam??

Well I did a cookie/browsing history dump, ran my adware prog, also my registry mechanic, turned off my Norton firewall, rebooted and then tried again.

Didn't make the blindest bit of difference! It said it was getting data from that other site but no pictures came down only the text.

Like Alex, I have total Norton security and I have not had any problems viewing photos from any source!

There have been instances when some people have been unable to view the photos in my Photo Album (link below) at IMFF.net (Ron has an Album there too), but having been advised to switch off their Firewalls whilst viewing, they have had full access to the images. I am not computer literate so I do not know if that is of any relevance!!

Even with the firewall off Hamish I could only view the first three pictures on page #1. With it on I can't see even those.

This applies whether I use either Windows or Norton firewalls.

No pics whatsoever appear on Mike's site, firewalls on or off.

Perhaps it's time to seek advice from my ISP?

I am not sure of the security at work suffice to say it must be a good system as we are in the business of financial print. At home we have AVG, I have never had a problem viewing anything posted here.
