I'm glad to hear your first kilted outing was a positive experience - they usually are. You'll find that the more you wear a kilt in public the more confidence you will have. Great story. And as Ron said, you will learn how to tell what the kilt is doing in the wind and how to control it.

The wind is your friend, although a sometimes prank playing friend. Sounds like you and your wife had a good first outing. Be prepared for more and more questions.
