Fire me will ya ? I'll just kilt myself !
In an alomst comical episode that saw a few people I work with and myself get axed last week, I finally have time to get bustin' on my E-kilt (cuz everybody knows elephants are scottish ...)
Pieces are cut and pleats are almost fully assembled, inner and outer aprons next. Buckles and straps following that and with a little luck and some tremendous assistance from the Mom (she the keeper of 5 sewing machines !) and I'll be on safari for next months beer night in Belmont - with flashes no less ...
CT - may go back to work eventually

We're all glad to hear that you have found something more useful than work to do with your time.
But in all seriousness, sorry you got the axe. Hope everything works out for you. Been there, done that. I shall say a prayer for your successful . . . uh, completion of the kilt. And whatever else you decide to pursue after finishing it.

Best of luck. Freedom from work is great but sometimes we do need to work to pay for life's pleasures such as kilts. Have you considered becoming self-employed?

Dread,
You need to take it easy on your employees. You have to warn them first. Hang up a sing that reads "The Beatings Will Continue Until Morale Improves", then you can fine them.
