It's worth every dime

My parents moved into a condo last November. Like you, they are loving the ability to sit by the window in their breakfast nook and watch someone else shovel the walks while they have coffee.

This is what our backyard looked like today. We only have 8" of the white stuff on the ground, but we're not really used to having that much at once. It was -21C (-6F) when Karen snapped these, and I was nice and toasty warm in my SWK Hunting Macleod Standard kilt, soccer socks, hoodie, and black leather bomber jacket.

All that snow makes me happy to live on the West Coast, it's an early spring for us.

Hmm, must be quite nice to have the drive cleared for you...

We only have about 3 feet of snow at present, but it's a nice steady -15 to -20 C. Fire up the snow-blower and enjoy immediate results (as opposed to teaching...).

Then go in and have a cup of tea or a wee tipple. Life in the snowburbs isn't bad either
