I might do Caledon Kilt and Kit.
I like the sound of that one!!!!!
Caledon is a suburb of Toronto. Might be confusing?

Didn't know that!!!!
(Caledon is the older form of Caledonia-land of the Caledon-, like Herman/German was the root of Germania, the land of Herman)

I don't think anyone would confuse it with a suburb, really. I like Caledon Kilt & Kit as a shop name.

Around Toronto people just might get the wrong idea, in my experience, and I have lived in and around Toronto all my life, Torontonians in general think the world revolves around Toronto. So I think Barb has a valid point, there are those who could get the wrong idea.

Update:
PARTICULARLY in light of Mike's new policy post.
At this time, I am NOT making this thing a reality.
My life has taken a different turn.
I am NOT taking orders for ANYTHING!!!!
I am just making stuff for myself.
IF anything changes, it will be noted in my signature.
I am making this public, as I have recieved interest. BUT, as of now, I am TOO BUSY with my "other jobs" and my family to make anything for anyone else. I am buried in projects for myself, made for my OWN USE.
That is also the reason I am not posting as frequently here as I once did.
I DO NOT want to compete and cheat present forum sponsors. As stated in the FIRST POST, I WILL IMMEDIATELY become a sponsor IF I ever change my mind.
Thanks for the ideas. I will remember them and a SEVERAL will end up on my electric train layout and at least one as an ad in my basball park model (on the layout) on an out field wall.
Thanks to everyone,
-John Wages (my REAL name)
Now, back to normalcy . . . (If I ever fit that description)

MacWage, go ahead and make stuff for yourself, when you're ready I wish you the best of luck. I don't believe the new forum changes are meant to discourage those investigating the potential of starting one's own business or to seek ideas. This is a forum after all it grows with new topics, or stagnates with repetition.

Here's another vote for Carolina Kilt and Kit - or just Carolina Kilts

John,
As one of the oldest sponsors of X Marks let me say this.
Jump on in here, the water's fine.
I view the new policy as a way to protect our members. The same way the forum must protect it's members from all the spam and phishing.
You can be pretty sure that if you wish to do business with one of the advertisers here, the Company and it's products have passed the test of time.
I've seen some of the posts of what you wish to do and I wish you success. When you are ready to kick off you business officially I will be one of the first to welcome you.
How about "MacWages Celtic Creations"? We can add MCC to the abbreviation's.
