Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky kilt night
So, my wife and kids are going out of town on the weekend of Feb 16-18, so I'm thinking kilt night is in order. I spoke to Rex about it, and unfortunately he is out of town (going to Mardi Gras), but I would still like to get together with anyone else available.
Options include (but are not limited to) going to Nicholson's (Scottish Pub down town Cincinnati - free pint for the kilted), The Pub (Brittish pub - kind of trendy- in Earlanger KY - if more people want to come from down south), or Covington's own Mardi Gras celebration is that weekend (lots of beer and Cajun food for the kilted crowd).
I'm open to other ideas as well.
So any takers?

I can't commit for sure, but I'd like to make it. I'll have to see how the work schedule is.
I don't drink, but I'd be up for hanging out with the kilted crew wherever.

The Pub just opened here in Lexington, nice place. I'm in Columbus most of that week. Running my dogs early the 17th but that evening is open. Looks like I would be available.
Not to sidetrack your thread, but I will be at the ballet in Cincy 2/10.

David, what are you doing before the ballet? I can't attend, but I might be able to meet before hand for a drink (Nicholson's is right across the street from the Aronoff Center). I'm going to send Rex an e-mail as well , he loves the ballet.

Dinner reservations at Jeff Ruby's at 6. I'm sure Kim would come up earlier for a drink at Nicholasons.

Now to get the thread back on track. There are lots of new members from Kentucky & Ohio, any of you guys interested in a kilt night on the 16th or 17th?

Still seeing what I can do this Sat, but I have just gotten a gig in Cleveland next week so now I can't do a kilt night on the 16-17. We'll get it together sometime,

On the other hand, I have a free evening tomorrow, and so intent to be at Nicholson's (downtown Cincy) from 7 till about 8:30 (later possibly, weird logistics going on). Anyone up stop by (Nicholson's first pint is free to the kilted).

Just made it back from Cleveland (more on this later). I'm still up for Nicholson's tomorrow night if there is any interest.
