black kilt

now it happened!
I bought black kilt from Highland Store.

I was in London for few days and went to the Store at Great Russell Street (after I was in British Museum )

was trying on lot of kilts (fortunately, people workin in the Store are so patient) and now I'm the owner of black one!

look forward to spring time.

Well, congratulations! I own a solid baclk kilt and it sees a lot of wear it he winter!

I've got a black one made of canvas and I love it. I can dress it up or dress it down and it works great.
Goes with darn near anything.

I made a kilt from a peach faced really jet black cotton - put the brushed side inside - 8 yards all but an inch, and have reached a sort of stasis - where can I go from there? It is just so perfect.

I supose as I have the other half of the cloth - I made it in one piece - I could just make another one.

A plain black wool kilt is on the list for me. Have a few other priority kilts to get but that is one that can look very sharp.
Enjoy that kilt, you can never go wrong with black.

A black or hidden plaid kilt was a rental option for my friend's wedding. I opted to get a kilt made in my family tartan, but the black ones were pretty. You could only get a glimpse of the plaid in certain light.

I'd go so far as to say that the black kilt is the man's version of the "little black dress" that women always have/want/need. It works with everything (with a little attention to detail).
