black is always great, whatever it is - kilt, car, t-shirt, suit or even mouse which I'm holding 18 hours a day (I'm graphic designer ).
black represents simplicity and style and it's good for every occasion.
my first bike was black too.
I heard yesterday evening that there is Polish Tartan for Polish people living in Scotland. I saw photo, quite nice.
is it true that in the past every reputable clan had own tartan? so what you think about Polish one and Polish people?

Black is the new black
I have a black kilt on the sewing bench right now, with desert sunset pleats no less. I hope someday to have a black leather Rkilt to go along with my SK.
God luck with your new kilt and welcome to the rabble.
