I'd go out and meet people, read, and work on being able to make a sporran as nice as the Freelander sporrans

Tying flies for the upcoming fishing season...'cept the house is a mess...any horizontal surface that anybody can put anything down on, they have put something down on!
Anyway....that's always been a pretty rewarding investment of my time but I haven't really been doing a lot of it lately. Part of the problem has been that I've learned that the fish are more likely to fall for the teen-weeny flies than the moderately medium sized flies that I'm comfortable tying...and, of course, this is something that you find out just as you pass into that phase of your life where your near-vision is failing and your hands are beginning to become less nimble than they were. Tying on sizes 12 and 14 is tough enough but I'm seeing the need for the 18's, 20's and 22's. So take heed, all you young guys....tie all your tiny flies while you're young and you'll have a lifetime supply to draw from!

I never have trouble finding the things to do, I only have trouble finding this mythical hour! I could work out, practice a variety of instruments, practice airbrushing, practice my katas, ride my Harley, work on my landscaping plans, read by the fire, compare the various scotches in my collection, sleep after trying too many of the scotches in my collection. Where can I find these extra hours? Please, please, puuhleeeze!

Well, I'd no longer have the excuse "Not enough time to work out", so I'd have to whip myself back into fighting shape, now that I am the proud owner of a husbandly gut.
