The topic is a very broad, detailed and subjective one. Depending on ones views this topic could end up anywhere and without knowing in more detail what you direction you are going with it it would be very hard for someone to take the time to give a lot of ideas that may not "jive" with what you are already committed to.

The only suggestion I could give is to use examples that are in current events and effect their daily lives already so that as they return to their daily lives after camp, they have reminders and application for what they have learned. Application being the big thing to me. How do I apply this to my everyday life?

When my wife was teaching I bought here a book called "When am I ever going to use this again?" It had some great stuff in it that gave kids actual examples of why they need to know how to calculate the angle of a trapazoidal duadenum (or something like that). I remember so many times sitting in class thinking why in the world do I need to know this and sadly, the teacher didn't know other than to say it's in the curriculum. Not good enough to a adolescent.

Just make sure the lessons are applicable to their lives or that they understand why they need to know this.

Not much help there, but you asked Hope it helps somewhat.

Might I ask as to where you got this book?

I found it at a Teachers Supply store. I'll see if I can find the ISBN for you.
