Xmarkr's is cool! If you already own your family name tartan, wear it. If you have the Black Watch tartan wear that. If not, wear what ever one you own that you want. For a relevant lesson, picking a fight would not get much favorable support, so my next guess would be to get online and print out tartan history and religious influences in European clothing. From there you could possibly get a fairly animated dialogue going in a casual but closely regulated rap session at camp. You might start it by asking for questions regarding the kilt you're wearing and how it differs from the wrap ilke clothing of other cultures, perhaps including toga's and the probable garments that Jesus wore and others of Older and early New Testament times.
