So far it has been meet with little in the way of derogatory coments, did have one ask if it was a pair of skorts though, a few odd looks, and a general sense of confusion in the office I work in but none of those are out of the ordinary for me. Now THERE'S another assault on human dignity! SKORTS!!! That's like asking you to eat your haggis with a flippin' SPORK!!! 
That having been said, congrats! Keep wearing it more and more places more and more often, and you (and everyone else) will be more and more comfortable with it!
