I just wanted to answer a few questions from Blu that some might have wanted to ask. The selvage is straight, and is of good quality. I make my kilts to sit where you want them to sit if you choose to have them sit where you wear your jeans, or if you choose to have the kilt sit where you wear your kilts. I have never had any issues with static cling with the PV I get from MM. I usually make my kilts with 2 straps if you want a third then it would be a small charge for the extra strap and buckle. I find with the PV I can press the fabric enough that I don't need to cut away bulky parts of the pleats, I find as I sew them down the aren't bulky, yes I sew the fell down but i don't use a canvas liner. All CCK's come with belt/spooran loops . I've pleated the Maple Leaf tartan many times I find the best ways to pleat this kilt is either to strip or to sett the sett size is 17.1cm or approx 6.85inches if my math is correct. I use black leather straps I haven't found the straps I use in brown I'l keep my eyes out for them . I like the black. I' sure i can get leather and cut straps but it never really looks as nice as the black ones.

I agree Blu that the Maple Leaf is a beautiful tartan and I am very excited for this tartan to be weaved up in the PV, any other question I here to answer.
Thanks Blu for the questions hope it helps.
