    Modern Sgian duhb

Anybody knows of a company besides Cold Steel that makes a modern sgian duhb? I already have one of their bravehearts but was wondering if I had any other choices for day to day wear. I also already have a more traditional one so I'm really not looking for another one.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by a "modern" sgian dubh?

I presume he means something purely for day to day use. Less ornamental and more rugged.

For reference, here's the cold steel braveheart

Sorry, something that if I screw up I'm not too worried about and not so ornamental. I really like the rubber/plastic design of the braveheart. I can still just throw it in the dish washer if I get it too cruddy but its not a cheap **** knockoff.

That looks like a real handy piece of steel.

The braveheart is nice but the blade it rather thin for my tastes. Cold Steels first attempt was a much better knife but they felt the need to stop making it and now they are hard to find.
