More Kilted Law Enforcement
At the Mesa, AZ Highland Games this weekend saw these three guys, Corrections Officers from the state prison down in Tucson. They were very genial about letting me take their picture. So, didn't get fussy about shooting into the sun, just used fill flash and hoped for the best.
Not positive about the tartan, think I heard someone say MacKenzie (?)
Which got me to thinking, Corrections Officer's uniform supply companies might be another good source of jackets to wear with kilts.

Not too sure why they were at a Highland Games in uniform. Odd.

Those jackets look remarkably like the old "Ike jackets" we had when I was a reserve Deputy over 20 years ago when the uniforms were grey. I don't know if I would want to wear one of those ugly looking things with a kilt. Unless of course one is a polyester lover

Nice pic, Ron, thanks for posting. Great to see more kilted law men.

sporrans
Da' boys look good. I noticed the piper sporrans. Were they pipers or was it that they just preferred that style sporran?

Sadly, didn't chat them up. Just encountered them in the vendor's area and asked if I could take their pic. Even forgot to get a place to email it to them and of course the Dept of Corrections doesn't accept email from anyone anywhere outside their system.
These were the only guys I noticed in their garb so not sure if there was a pipe band.

Nice pic.
Anyone else think the guy on the right looks like Trooper Rodney Farva?

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?
