to further specify on this equation..."Good Company + Kilts + Good Beer + Fun location = Kilt Night"
in actuallity, the most basic version in it's universal application is
"Kilt + night = Kilt Night"
everything else is just a bonus..

I wasn't aware of any kilt nights in St. Louis, but I have been to the Scottish Arms a few times (kilted one of those times).
I'm still very new to kilt wearin'. Is a kilt night a good excuse to go to a fav. watering hole and wear kilts, or is there something else involved. We don't have any (that I know of) in the St. Louis area. I am very excited to think about starting one up. I know of at least two of Kilted men who would attend.
Thanks for any input.

I'm interested in a kilt night in the area. Where were you thinking of having one?

They used to hold them at the Tap Room on Olive, before the Scottish Arms was business.

Now this...I understand! I had the same trepidation about wearing my Kilt out in public. It was kind of a huge desire to do it, met with a feeling of "am I prepared enough to pull it off". However, I am not sure I was prepared for what happened the moment I put on my new Kilt...I wrapped the kilt, buckled the straps & belt and stood there in the mirror feeling the rush of adrenaline that "I AM A WARRIOR" --The truth is it made me want to run through the hills with a sword in my hand!
"Here's to you Warrior Chaplain"

McGurks
McGurks - O'Fallon, MO
I have a couple other guys who live not far from me and we were considering meeting there. Irish pub (not as Irish as the orignial, but I'm willin to change them)
If you would like to meet us there, we are planning on March 16th @ 6:30pm. I'm trying to get a side room or just meeting by the interior bar. (it wouldn't be a good Irish place without 2 bars)
