I'm addicted!!! I can't help myself. I should have joined sooner. It's 8 am and I arrived at work at 7 and have been reading on the board since then. Thank you for all the welcomes.

Welcome!
It does get addictive, doesn't it?

Welcome,
I've visited Albuquerque kilted a LOT in the past few years. Never had a problem...downtown, old town, Sandia Peak, Gathering of Nations, Pueblo casinos...not an issue.
My favorite stupid kilt comment did come from a drunk in a supermarket in some barrio in western Albuquerque, He hollared out, "Hey Switzerland!" as a welcome.
My kiltmaker, Kathy Lare lives in Albuquerque www.kathyskilts.com making you one lucky kilter. I have six of her hand sewn kilts and she's working on number seven now.
When your addiction moves beyond price and into value you'd be wise to check with her. Lovely lady and well educated in her craft.
My lady and I are headed over to Albuquerque in April for this year's Gathering of Nations. Someone has to represent Scotland.
And hey, Kilts ARE machisimo!
