I got my first kilt form this store. It's a PV casual 5 yd. in the Campbell of Argyll tartan. I'm very happy with it, and very happy with the service I received. It proved a very affordable way to get into this wonderful life of being kilted. I do understand that the majority of what they sell is imported and of lesser quality than other stores, but for a first kilt, they done me good. And to tell the truth, I would recommend their PV kilts to anyone who wants either an affordable first kilt or just a casual kilt in which one could do things that one would not do in an expensive wool kilt(grilling, maybe) Having said all that, the kilt in question with the Saltire on the front apron, if that is indeed the one in question, is not an item that would appeal to me. But if it suits you, by all means, go for it! And don't forget to post pics of yourself wearing it proudly when it arrives.

I've used them twice. On each occasion, the goods which arrived were of a lower quality than that shown on the web site, or mis-described.
I wouldn't use them again.
Best regards

I bought an Irish National kilt from them and got exactly what I expected. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I bought a sporran from them of ebay (They are huge on Ebay) close to two years ago. when it arrived it had a large crack across the bend in the top flap. They did agree to take it back. After several weeks of emails and a certified letter I finally received the credit for the sporran. Very few email responses and very poor communication from them.
It sounds to me that if everything goes normal and you accept that the products will be of lesser quality, you will be satisfied. The issues come in when there is a problem, they do not have a good problem management skills to resolve issues.

If the Saltaire kilt with the White "X" on the FRONT apron is the one you're referring to (NOT the one in Hamish's pics), then why not ask Robert from RKilts or Steve from FK or Richard from UK to make one for you?
This way, you KNOW it would fit and you've heard LOTS of good things about their Customer Service and you can tweak the design to include pockets and stuff if you want.

Yeah, I meant the one with the "X" in front. I'll probably order from Heritage though, for price reasons.
