Time for another Denver kilt night.
I can't afford to do the full dinner thing, but we really ought to welcome the new Denver Xmarker with a kilt night. How 'bout it guys? John? Glen? Corbin? Greg? Anyone in the area that missed the last one?

Charles, sounds like fun to me. Any saturday with the exception of St. Patricks day. We need to stay out later and have some fun like the guys down south do. Who's up? see ya.

Would anyone in the Denver like to do another kilt night in April?
My wife will be attending a conference between the 18th and 21st of April. We have a hotel room somewhere downtown near the conference center.
My sister lives in Longmont and we will be visiting her also.
I can bring kilts, and I'm old enough to drink. First round on me?

Either another kilt night or set this one for then and do it downtown. By the way Steve, if you end up looking for something to do while your wife is attending the conference, Auraria campus is just across speer from the convention center, and if you are interested, there is a dinosaur museum there. Not to mention quite a few other things that happen to be in the general LoDo area there. I'd be happy to hang out with you before or after class on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday as well.

Steve, that sounds like a great idea. I'll let the guys from Denver set the place but my wife and I will be up there.

Wow, I'm started to get excited about this. I guess I've now got an "in" in Denver.
While my wife attends the convention I will have quite a bit of time on my hands so any offer to hang out with a local is appreciated. I love museums and try to visit them where ever I travel.
I guess I should pay a visit to Ft. Carson and Butts field and do the memory thing.
So I guess my plans are like this
Day 1 - Get off the plane, find the hotel, kiss my wife for the last time I'll see her in three days, take a nap, wake & find another kilted guy a bar and a burger. Sleep
Day 2 - wake, shower, visit the museum, find some more kilted guys, look at pleats and talk kilts, eat something, sleep.
Day 3 - wake, shower, visit my sister, find some kilted guys and talk about and compare kilts again, eat, have a drink to be sociable, sleep.
day 4 - wake, shower, check out of the hotel, find the airport and swish my pleats to wave bye-bye to Denver.
sounds good to me.
