I'm not ignoring this, I just have to get my house into a state where the pic can be taken. I project this weekend sometime.

I'm not ignoring this either, Big Mikey...but I am recovering from the flu. Regardless, I just tried to take some photos myself using the self-timer but I couldn't get anything to turn out well. I'm in so much pain today that I just can't get comfortable in the recliner...I may have to move to the loveseat.

In the meantime, here's another one of "my" poses (only one that came out):

I'll ask my wife to help out and get my own version of the "MacMonkey" done later tonight or tomorrow.

Now that's easier for this olde kilter too.

Had this of my weathered Gordon hand sewn from Celtic Croft. Taken in my office at work.

Sorry, didn't have a stick on hand.

Okay, here's my attempt at Big Mikey's "MacMonkey":

Thankfully, Wendi was able to get a good shot of me posing in her recliner (I never use it)...all I had to do was smile.

Great idea Big Mikey. Have to admit when I tried the new Hamish High Kick II, I nearly did a Panache. Yours looks much safer.

    Looking good Ron and MacSimoin!

    Big Mikey,

I think we have to concede that MacSimoin has the cooler walking stick.

    Cheers

    Thanks, Panache.

Not to split hairs but this is a cane (a necessity, not an accessory) made for me as a wedding gift/family heirloom. I normally use a standard "hospital cane" (aluminum) to get about but I thought I'd show this one off since it's so nice.

My name is laser-etched in Gaelic Irish along the front of the cane itself...here's a few pics:

    The handle (a hand-carved wolf's head):

A Celtic cross just underneath the handle joint:

A Celtic shamrock just above the rubber tip:

Glad you like my attempt at the "MacMonkey", Big Mikey...thanks!

That is one cool stick. As to whether it's a neccessity or accessory, that is a state of mind. With your positive attitude, it could be just a lineless fishin' pole!
