Piped once for the Tampa Bay Parrotheads in Paradise in kilt, flip-flops, and a Hawaiian shirt (color coordinated to the primary stripe of my tartan, of course). Considerably more comfortable than my usual piping kit in this latitude, and quite well matched to their general ambiance.

County and Celtic - a great match!

My wife is pure country (born in Abilene TX, lived in Reno 20+ years) and I am about as Scottish as they come (first generation born in the US). Makes for some pretty interesting interior decorating

As I keep reminding her, Country was born out of the Celtic culture - especially the music. After all - country music originated in Shenandoah Valley with the Scots-Irish immigrants.

So why the heck not mix the two!
