A non kilted trip to the movies

Me and my fiancée went to the movies the other day. We get up to the usher to pay for our tickets, and the kid working the counter looked at us, the said,
"hey! how are you guys doing? I didn't recognize you without your kilt on. Why aren't you wearing it today? "
Me and my girl laughed a bit, and we said, yup its me and a little small talk. It was pretty funny though. People really tend to like the kilt. I guess it breaks the monotony of everyones daily routine. Puts a smile on peoples faces.

I think you are right. Once people understand that you're not wearing it as a stunt or a prank or a "fetish", they begin to accept it as a part of who you are. At work, it practically a non-event now. And many folks in this small town bat an eye.

Yes. once people have seen you wearing a kilt they expect to see you wearing it every time they see you. I got fed up with people asking where's the kilt today; saves a lot of explaining just going kilted every day.

I head pants make great campfire starters if you soak them in wax. That is almost the only good use I can find for them.
