I have seen images of the guidon, and I was thinking of making one using those, one of the things the late commander did was to establish the arms of the chief with Lord Lyon. However, I am going to avoid offending any, and sticking to ideas that are free from bad taste.

As a nod to popular culture (and kilt-wearing), you could have a picture of that famous fictional MacGillivray, Elmo MacElroy.
(Say what you want about the character, he knew how to wear the kilt.)

I've been hosting a tent at my local games for about five years now. And I started wth nothing. I was lucky in that I was taking over an already existng tent and the previous host gave me a few pictures and histry notes to use. Since then, I've added a tartan banner, clan history books, nic-nacs, and just this last year I added a large vinyl banner to hang across the front of the tent and a wood cut out of the clan crest. The first banner we used was made from a felt material. We hand cut the letters and glued them on.
We have a good time every year. I'm even thinking of hosting a tent at a second location this year. Have fun with it.
