Some more pictures (off their website Red Hot Chilli Pipers):
The Band
Impressing a crowd of fans (nearly everybody wearing the kilt, I'm pleased to see)
With Ewan McGregor (also in the kilt - but not one of Howie's 21st Century ones, I think)

here's a fun link for fans of he Chillis that might also help sway some in the debate about the superiority of highland over irish dancing...chilli dancers

I have one of their CDs and like their music very much. In the States there are severlaaCeltic rock groups that are impressive. As examples, in Texas, Needfire is a local favorite and we've had The Wicked Tinkers from California come to the Houston Higlhand Games.

I've seen a lot of people mentioning Howie Nicholby's 21st Century Kilts.
Now, I have the RHCPipers's last CD in my hand, and on the back of the booklet they thank their sponsors: "Slanj (website-adress) - for the great kilts and image"
So, I don't mean to be a wiseguy or something, but I think they are not (always) wearing TFCK when they perform.
I haven't seen the lightning kiltpin on their kilts either...
I must admit, I thought they were wearing TFCK's too at first, but... I'm not so sure anymore

Howie HAS made TFCK kilts for The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, but you are correct - they do not always wear them when performing. I believe they ring the changes, keeping both kilt makers happy!
Take care,
Ham.

Having brought both R.H.C.Pipers CD's I must admit to the fact that I cannot come to like them, however, I have found a group that I do indeed enjoy and have now got all of their CD's in my opinion they make RHCP look and sound rubbish

Enjoy
