Houston Kilt Afternoon/Evening
Once again I'll be in Houston for a week of training. I'll be arriving on Sunday, April 1st and heading back on Friday, April 6th. Would like to get together with you Houston kilties on Sunday if at all possible. Last year I had the good luck to meet with Zardoz and his wife when down there for the same training and would enjoy meeting again.

Sorry to here that Zardoz. Hope you have a good weekend anyway.
Kid, looks like it will be you and me. I know there's another kiltie down there that joined recently but don't know who it is. Hope he can make it too. I'll be getting in about 1:30 or so on Sunday and heading up to the Woodlands Conference Center. I won't have transportation, they have conference transportation set up. I'll have all afternoon and evening free after I get set up with the room. Let me know where and I'll get there.

If we want to keep it in the Woodlands area might I suggest The Goose's Acre? It is a new "Bistro & Irish Pub" located on the Waterway by the Marriott. I have not been there but this would be as good a reason as any to head up that way.

Well, now I may be in town that day. sometimes I don't know wear I'm gonna be till I get asked to leave!
There is a nice new pub up there, The Goose's Acre. It's on the Woodlands waterway near the hotels, It's owned by the same folks who run the place Livingston and I visited last time he was in town.

This COULD actually work out. According to the Almighty Yahoo, the pub is 39 miles from my front door. How does an early evening sound to all? As a general rule, our babysitter is with the children from about four until eight pm. Sunday evenings.
Would something in the neighborhood of 5-7 work? Show up, have some fellowship, have some beerz, a light supper and hi ho and off we go?
That ought to put Natasha and I back home comfortably around eight, in time to get the girls in bed and rest up against the exigencies of the next Monday.
Wheeee! I'm tickled pink.

This would work fine for me. A friend in the Woodlands just told me about the Goose's Acre and I am interested in checking it out.

Outstanding idea. I'll probably be there earlier than that if anyone wants to show up early. Now to remember to get the address before I leave Colorado.
