I've considered going with a tartan traditional kilt but I think I'd rather go with a solid colour contemporary first. Reading the review of the black hemp Rkilt almost makes me want to start hiding my paychecks from the utility companies and landlord.
Ah, then you'll be needing a GREAT KILT so you can wrap up in it when you're asleep on the park bench...
Welcome from Ontario. Having seen Rkilts first hand I think it will be worth saving up for one of his creations (although don't look at his leather kilts, just too tempting). Others have given you good options, I personally own a Stillwater and you get more than your money's worth there. Another option is Canadian Casual Kilts. Whatever you get, just get kilted.
