Be well Robert, take care of your self. At the end o the day, a kilt i just an article of clothing, no matter how much we all love and lust after a new one from an artisan like yourself.

You would've had you read the original post! Seems I had to add "Against the kiltmakers" as a point of clarification. Glad you didn't find out!

Robert, I'm not in line for one of your kilts, but if I were, I would greatly appreciate your coming here and explaining things to everyone. Your health comes first. Take care of that and the kilts will get made.

Jeez, reminders of my days in the cut and sew factories...I was the designated driver whenever someone sewed their fingers together with an industrial sewing machine...or lopped off a digit in the die cutter...or got their finger snapped in the snap machine...blood, tears, explaining to the ER docs what happened.
Anyway Robert, glad you're taking care of yourself. And be kind to your caretakers.
For faster healing, bunch up a some of that raw leather that is waiting, stick your nose deep into the wad of leather, and huff deeply.
