    You should visit the Scots of North Carolina, too. There are parts of the USA that only stopped being Gaelic-speaking just before the First World War.

    Thank you for the warm welcome. It's nice to know I'm not the only one.
    I'm hoping to visit North and South Carolina in the coming year so that would be great.

    I was in Glasgow yesterday, kilted of course in Teviotdale District tartan.
    I'm originally from Paisley, though I attended Glasgow University and my wife Ann is from Glasgow.

    The Borders here receives much less rainfall than does Glagsow.
    Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.
