Thanks for the welcome. My fiance was born in Washington and lived there till she was 12, so we plan to visit there after the wedding.

Hello and thanks. Hopefully there will be more than a few kilts at the wedding, even if most of my family can't make it.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I'm hoping to see BC within the next few years. My fiance has family in Atlin, and I'm assured it's one of the most beautiful place sin the world.

I'm originally from Paisley, though I attended Glasgow University and my wife Ann is from Glasgow.
The Borders here receives much less rainfall than does Glagsow.
Thanks for the welcome.
I'm afraid that I've never found anywhere in the world that gets quite as much rain as glasgow if you base it on constancy rather than inches.
Glasgow uni is a great place, if you ask me. I hope you enjoyed your visit.

Hey Tim. I'm glad I found a place where I can share the addiction. I've been fighting for a long time to wear my kilt on a daily basis, and it's nice to know I'm not alone.

It's refreshing to see a native Scot so interested in preserving past traditions. Looking forward to future posts . . .
