Funny you mention that. If I take a standard IQ test, I actually score fairly low. I don't do well.
Now on on standard tests designed to test spatial intelligence and mnemonic association I score off the charts. The last one I took I weighed in at 180. What does that mean? Absolutely nothing because nobody credits these tests seriously. That said, 200 is about the absolute top end.
There is some suspicion that I am a high functioning autistic type. I have some trouble with social interaction. I am dissociated and detatched. I lean toward repetitive behaviours with some mild OCD. (Helloooo crocheting) I have all the usual intense and deep understandings of obscure subjects and fixations on odd eccentric things. And the unusual stuff like teaching my self how to read by the age of three. I have difficulty talking on the phone because I can't see a person's face and I get all flustered and angry for reasons I can't explain. I dunno if it is HFA or Asperger, it was never fully diagnosed. Just discussed. In fact, the whole kilt thing might just be a HFA thing... A total lack of concern for peer pressure and what others think.
I dunno.
