McVarmit I see your point and can see your concern. I realize that the EGA(please forgive this ignorant Canadian if I got the letters mixed up) was awarded to a marine upon graduation of boot camp. For this I sympathize with you. But can one not go and purchase a t-shirt whereever emblazoned with Marines and have the EGA also on this shirt? So to me this is a gray area. No if non-serving civilian was to wear a tunic with all the rank, ribbons, insignia and trappings, now that I would consider offensive to anyone that served. History shows that as a Viet Nam Veteran you were never shown the respect you so deservedly earned or honoured for the sacrifices that you and your bretheren paid. I hope this is no longer the case in this day. God knows you've earned the right to say how you feel, don't let anyone shout you down Sir. I believe that Beuth Sim's heart is in the right place, I do not think that he would disrepect the Corps at any and all cost. Slick, if I may, you have my respect and for what it's worth, my gratitude.
