Ok, y'all. I have four SKs. I wouldn't even consider sewing weights into them. Only once, when walking into St. Thomas from the port, did I ever encounter a "breeze", that I had to be concerned with while wearing my SK hiker. It was a headwind, and it was blowing between my legs as I walked, pushing both "flaps" of the kilt between my legs. I just adjusted my sporran, and held down the open flap for that leg of my walk. When the breeze is blowing from the left or right, it isn't a problem. While walking from South Beach toward Hollywood Beach, I did have one time, when I felt the breeze lift the back of my SK hiker, but I'm not sure how high, and if I gave a brief "moon", so what. No one honked. ;)

Weights not for everyone and if I was younger maybe not for me either but at 52 not sure a brief moon is going to enhance anyone's day. LOL
