Hey Ozone, I'm here. Work nights. Just home.
So pretty routine day. First the admin ladies ganged up on me and said, "Where's your kilt." Just said I was directed not to wear it for this meeting today...that brought silence.
My supervisor gave me a polite and quiet "Thank you." For wearing pants.
So at the big meeting one of the younger therapists says real loud, "Ron, why aren't you wearing a kilt today?"
The meeting went well. I did well with the prospect, turns out we have some common friends in the business down in Phoenix - both highly respected therapists, and knowing them was big points. And, knowing some specialty stuff they wanted to know about saved my supervisor from looking dumb.
Afterward she asked me if I'd been in marketing...um, thought you read my re'sume' - 27 years of sales and marketing before becoming a therapist...
Then got an emai from herl that she and I meet with the CEO tomorrow afternoon. Don't think this has much to do with kilts, rather the unrelated conflicts between us.
Made a decision to wear pants tomorrow too. Even though she gave the okay for me to wear a kilt tomorrow gonna do pants again - my choice - then back to kilts Thurs and Fri for St. Paddy's...the USA Kilts semi trads - saffron and Ireland's National.
As far as wearing pants for the first time in over 19 months, no fun at all as you'd expect. At least they still fit.

I'm a little surprised about this CEO meeting.
She has said you can wear a kilt and you have decided not to Ron.
Is there some subtle psychology behind both decisions? Although you state that it is to do with unrelated conflicts, this is also an area of conflict. Did she give the OK to try and keep this particular conflict out of sight and have you chosen pants hoping that the the CEO will inquire why you are in pants when they are probably used to seeing you in a kilt?
