OK, metric in a nut shell. It is all based on the unit 10, which makes it hard for me having 9½ fingers, hence why i do have to wear jeans, unzip pretty much get close enough to 10 if you get the picture! No get that thought out of your head as you are going to have to try to sleep sometime tonight!
Yeah... I get the picture. I think I'm gonna be crying myself to sleep tonight...
Now for the history of the sewing machine... perhaps it's the same reason soldiers learn the history of warfare. You'll understand where you are better if you know where your trade has come from?
Way to go Dreadbelly! I spend a lot of time with people with Asperger's Syndrome and autism working in behavioral intervention, it's an interesting connection. Hope the next test goes as well.

I would have never thought of that on my own. My brain just doesn't work that way.
I figured there was a perfectly good logical reason for all of this.
I can certainly understand the need for repair skills though. A dressmaker or a tailor could save a fortune on repair and servicing bills if they can maintain their own equipment!
Or you could always moonlight as one of those sewing machine repair people that charge 150 dollars an hour for labour.
Ugh math, tis the work of the devil The math I have to take for my degree is suppose to prepare students for further math courses required for engineering and chemistry degree's. Makes perfect sense for a Language Arts teaching degree
