Wouldn't that be an easy way to play the pipes, just be kilted a lot and then it is soooo easy! I wish.

    DALE.

You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!

I am dying to come up with a miniature set of bagpipes that would act as a keychain fob...they'd have one of those little electronic gizmos that they put in stuffed animals and when squeezed it would play Scotland The Brave. This would be a handy thing to whip out whem somebody yells, "Where's your bagpipes?"
My brother found some on ebay; they are fridge magnet bagpipes, very small, and play Scotland the Brave when you squeeze them. They come in Royal Stewart or Black Watch tartan!

But you can probably read music. I played the trombone in HS band, but didn't know how to read music, I put a number over each note and knew the position to play.

My dad can pick up any instrument and play it. He'll ask how a song goes, and then just play it. I should ask if he ever tried a bag pipe.

That's kinda funny. I played trumpet for 8 years but couldn't really read music either - I just played what I heard everybody else playing. Bridget from Flogging Molly(their fiddle player) can't read music either but she's amazing.

If all it too to play pipes was wearing a kilt, would 18 kilts make me a pipe major ???

At 74+ kilts would that make Hamish an entire pipe band?

Doc, convinced that the holes on a penny whistle are there to confuse him
