Gee i bet that would look great, and nobody will have thought of that design before. ![Laff](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/laff.gif)
I'm waiting for my X-Marks Tartan. Lots of Saltires in that one. Working now on an Isle of Sky from some extra fabric.
Thanks to all for the complements. It was the knowledge I've gained from you all that put the idea in my head for putting the tartan on the bias.
Anyone who is interested in one of these sporrans feel free to PM me. I don't stock tartan, though, just leather. You'd need your own swatch unless I can find a source.

If that's what your avatar is, I think would look really good, with the red stripe on the bias. Of couse the downside is that you generally could wear it only with a kilt of the same tartan, or a solid color kilt. Hence the utility of the interchangeable flaps.

Very nice. Now I'm going to need a new sporran to match each of my kilts!

I think your sporron looks great, but I would not wear one as there's enough tartan on the kilt's I wear, but good if you like the idea

No, just new flaps to go with the same sporran body. At most one black and one brown body, with flaps. Oh, and of course something for formal wear.

Thanks for the correction. I wouldn't have had time to make all those sporrans!
