I also find trousers a bit strange. I ventured out in trousers one morning last week for the first time in over a month and changed into a kilt at lunchtime. Yesterday was a blustery day and I flew a radio navigation exercise to Prestwick and back. Kilts aren't ideal for a windy day. Kilts aren't ideal for climbing into the cockpit of small aircraft. Combine the two and I opted for trousers yesterday, which felt strange all day and several people asked where's the kilt today.

It always bugs me when I'm Kilted for a long period of time, then I put on shorts, and I go to sweep my shorts before I sit down. My Wife always catches me doing that and laughs at me.

As one of the "kilts and jeans" guys, one thing I did notice this past weekend as hot as it was how strange it felt to have sweat roll all the way down my legs to my kilt hose. With Levi's it just get's absorbed at the nearest contact point of skin and fabric. A slight bit of a breeze on wet skin is almost a chilling effect.
