St. Patrick's Day in Austin Photos
I don't know about ya'll but I had a great St. Patrick's day with some of my friends and my girl. Started at the Mean Eyed Cat in Austin. We saw The Polyphonic Spree http://www.thepolyphonicspree.com/2.0/#. They were really good. Then it was off to the Dog and Duck Pub. http://www.dogandduckpub.com/index.html
All in all a very good day but I have to remember that you must eat early and often when enjoying the outdoor events that include libations. Anyway, enjoy the photos.
Enjoying the Polyphonic Spree at the MEC with friends.
With the lovely wife Tori at the Dog and Duck Pub.
Fella named Chris in his kilted attire. He's a biggun.
Don't know this chaps name but he has some real kilt problems. Had to get a photo. A copy of this goes to the Do's and Dont's thread.
Made some friends and they let me have a pull or two from the Tullamore Dew. Good stuff and no that was mid-blink and not result of doin' tha Dew.
Takin' the plunge. Tasty and smooth. Who needs a glass (I know I'll get some grief for the jug pull but you gotta' do what ya gotta' Dew).
Letting a new friend have a pull from the Glenfiddich 15 year and I think the gal on the right is cheering her on...
I think I've seen this print before...lol.

Looks like a fun time. Wish I was there....!
Did you straighten out the fellow on his pleats?
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Steve, you really caught the atmosphere there with your excellent photos and video clips. I am slightly envious of your weather. As I write we are having another dusting of snow - just when we thought Spring had arrived!
By the way I just LOVE your Craig a/c kilt whichyou wear SO well. I trust I will be able to do mine similar justice - when it finally arrives!

Great pics, I like how you wear your kilt above the knees.
The backwards guy seems to have a wedding ring on...maybe we can blame his wife....?
