But the most important question remains unanswered - do you have a kilt for the dog yet?

    The kilt showed up.....

The outer apron is 2 inches shorter than the inner apron, which is an inch shorter than what I ordered. Needless to say the kilt did not fit. The reverse pleat on the right that was promised is not there, neither are the tartan flashes that were to be included. The pleats were not basted, so they were a mess when they showed up. I was really hoping to wear this for the upcoming Victoria kilt night this friday, but it just isn't going to happen.....

I have emailed the vendor (no reply as of yet) and will hopefully get this sorted out asap. This company has had a bad rap fro communication in the past, but they offered great service this time around. It's ironic that the customer service was lacking but the products were always good, yet this time the reverse is true.

I was extremely disappointed Friday evening, and it was made worse because the tartan is much nicer than I anticipated.

Well I have to say I am sorry to hear that the Kilt was not as expected, its always a bummer. On the other hand I have to say congratulations on the not smoking part. That is no small thing and you should be very proud of yourself. You have improved not only your life but that of your family greatly with such a choice. Good luck with the CSR's and getting the kilt right.

Congrats on the new kilt, but sorry to hear I bought my dress sporran from scottishkilts.net. Communication was spot on excellent with them right up until something went wrong. I ordered the sporran, it took a bit longer (3 days) than expected to be made, and shipping went off without a hitch. When I got it, it had the wrong cantle on it. I e-mailed them back immediately but have yet to hear a response from them. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again.

Fortunately, I do actually like the cantle it came with so I'm not concerned about getting it replaced .. just maybe a bit of a credit for the trouble.

I have ordered quite a bit from them, and unfortunately this is the first time the gear was not up to par. I emailed them this morning, but didn't hear anything back. I am sure they will resolve the issue to my satisfaction.

Aye, Colin! Everyone can make mistakes (I've made, well, one or two myself), but the measure of a man, or a company, is how they react when they make mistakes.

I'd rather work with someone who gets it right 80 percent of the time off the bat, but makes it right, than with someone who gets it right 94 percent of the time but doesn't care to make it right.

I guess when the kilt is right you'll REALLY like it, eh?
