You did a nice job with photo shop or whatever you used. I'm too lazy. I work on computers 14 hours a day and don't get too energetic about such things when I get back to the hotel.

As far as the vertical / horizontal tiger stripes ... I have worn the real deal. I know which direction the stripes went 35 years ago. I am pretty lucky to be alive and I'm happy with the vertical stripes of the Freedom Kilt. It matches the tree bark of the trees in Oklahoma. So in my mind there is no hitch.

The stripes are that way for a reason. It is how the camo print comes off the roll. If you put the stripes the right way, you'd need 2 or 3 foot wide sections all stitched together to make a kilt, with many breaks in the pattern. So... It is easier to just roll 8 yards in length off the roll and make a kilt sideways.

Actually, There were two versions of the Tiger Stripe circa 1967-69, "in country".
One was American made that had the stripes in the vertical. The thinking at the time was that elephant grass was vertical so the stripes had to be also. And then there was the "Official" version worn by ARVN and made in V-N that had the stripes diagonal. In '70 there started to appear the after market Tigers. Usually not in the ultra light weight Rip-stop nylon. And these all had the stripes horizontal because it was cheaper to cut out the pieces of the pants that way. Since then all tigers have had the stripes horizontal.

I suggest that anyone who buys one of my Tiger Stripe Kilts remain in the prone position, preferably on a couch or soft carpet. That way the stripes will be "correct" and you will need not expend any excess energy worrying about it.

you may have met Jon Harris, a business friend of mine that leads Team Tacticalmarkers, he also had the US distributorship for Armotech, and now has the US distributorship for the Miltec line of markers.
(actually they are the same markers, Armotech was a paper Tiger that got bogged down in legal red tape)

My uncle Norm McLaughlin was the third man out of his landing craft on the beach in Normandy in the real invasion. and he lived to talk about it!
He landed with an American Unit, and because of this I've been trying for years to get to this paintball event.
just haven't had the cash to get there and back and play.

McLaughlin Road in Brampton Ontario Canada was named in his honor.
