    Fabric?

I'm thinking of trying an Xkilt, and I'm looking at two different pieces of fabric. Do you think either one would be suitable?

The second is a Fraser and Kirkbright remnant. I'm looking at the solid black one, in 11 oz wool.

Either one should work fine..just one caveat on the denim.

If the selvedge isn't nice, you'll have to hem it. Now, go look at the cuff on a pair of blue jeans. Think about pressing that thickness into a nice, crisp pleat.

got it? ..like, ahhh. "fat chance". The stinker is that you can't inspect the selvedge when you buy it on ebay, eh?

OK with that in mind, choose wisely. The F&K wool would probably be very nice.
