I did some research and these were made by the Jonette Jewelry Company out of RI (I think it was RI). They went belly up last September after being in business since 1935 or so. I have found some more of their designs on-line and they did some cool stuff. There is a seller on eBay listing some (maybe the same as sold you these?), and they have some with dinosaurs that I think would look awesome on a kilt, especially a solid color. I am watching them. Also a cool sunburst one.

The seller was peanutscharms, I would consider them alright to deal with, didn't get a deal buying in bulk, good communcations and always delivered as promised.
