    Sgian Don't

OK at a pub last night kilted, a lovely young lady came over to discuss my "weapon". Since I don't care to carry a Sgian Duhb, I was wondering if anyone could pint me to the scources of Sgian Don'ts. So that in future when another young lady asks this, I will be able to produce this and offer her assistance to open her bottle for her.

I am currently waiting a custom job from him. Beautiful work.

That's what I was looking for but these are a bit pricey though. Those Damascus steel blades are also intriquing also. How is the pattern produced?
    Oh, and thanks Phil.

At the risk of being slapped by a moderator, I have to ask - Are you sure a sgian dubh was the weapon she was referring to?

Two pieces of steel - one with high carbon content and one with low - are placed one on top of the other. The blacksmith then folds the two pieces of steel over each other again and again.

Or so is my understanding. I absolutely expect to be corrected.

I thought that you handled yourself really well given the tenacity of that nice young lady.

Shortly after, I guess it was a divide and conquer sort've thing.
As for making my own I do have some choice cherry seasoning (collecting dust) in the garage, but that would be way down on my priority list.
The argyle is most assuredly green and would surely go well with saffron.

Yes like I said it was grey with Green and brown in it, I am just glad you will be able to make use of it.
