    Gaelic Storm HDNet

There I was surfing during a time out at the ballgame and I saw "Gaelic Storm in Chicago." Don't kow if this shouldn't be under Celtic Music or not....but, the bodran player was wearing a contempory kilt, looked like a UK to me, but Patrick Murphy called it a "football kilt." Good tunes and they will be on HDNet again on Sunday. I have the TIVO all set up to record the whole show.

I watched it and enjoyed it a lot. "Johnny Jump-Up" was a bit more dirge like than I'm used to hearing, but It looked like a great show to attend.

These guys are the most fun band I have ever seen live. I have gone to 4 shows so far. The best thing is these guys are so down to earth. They hang out in the bar before and after the show to meet and drink with fans. And they just happen to be wonderful musicians.

they are fantastic group of guy. Went drinking with them one night,, they got up and perfromed a few songs at the pub we were at. Steve got up and sang a love song.. that the girls just loved. Patrick is a fun loving guy and danced a bit.

My favorite song that Patrick Murphy sings is Born to be a Bachelor its on their CD "How are we getting home"

Did you know that they were in the movie Titanic? They were the irish band playing for the poor irish passangers...
