Gee, is that weapon that the stormtrooper is carrying a part of Scottish history or in any way associated with it? Perhaps it will bring the wrath of the mods down on whoever posted it since the rules have been seriously violated.
Is it just me or does anyone else see the irony here about not posting pictures of guns of any sort other than those 'approved' by the rules?
Now I'm curious as to whether this will be addressed or if my post will be removed because it brings up too good a point...?
Chris.

1) I'm sure that at some point the Black Watch and other kilted regiments did indeed do battle with stormtroopers at some point. Cajunscot over to you.
2) Are there any actual photon laser weapons in actual existence?
3) Do not bring the wrath of Lord Vader upon the rabble nor that of Mike1, both of whom give me the willies.

It's not a weapon; it's a prop. Not only is it being displayed with a kilt, it also can't be interpreted as anything other than humor; a joke.

No, it's just you. I take it you've got your Victoria's Secrets in a wad because your feathers are still ruffled from getting previously spanked by a moderator for violating the no discussion "concerning kilt accessories used as weapons or used to carry weapons" rule. Get over it.

perhaps he's trying to figure a way to use that sharp pointed lighted device as a kilt pin!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Ah, win, lose, or draw... this is a "kilt do's and don'ts" thread, so that's why they were posted - to see if the consensus was "do" or "don't!" (OK, and for your enjoyment, too.)

Those are SUPPOSED to be cadadh. He looks like he is TRYING to be "old-school" but is mis-informed on what is "period" and what is not. (IF you don't know, the "wheels" are OUT)
I think we should unleash Mr. Newsome for some friendly help and advise.
He made the cadadh out of ??????? and cut the feet out (or busted them???), more like moggans.
A front shot off the wheeled scooter (which didn't work exactly as predicted, did they), might look better than the shot presented.
THAT is also the reason I DON'T like red/white cadadh. (though there is plenty of evidence for wide spread usage)
I've also seen cadadh worn with modern kilts that look GREAT!
(And I am thinking of making some myself). I HOPE mine will look better than those (they WILL at least go over the feet).

In reference to Fearnest's very strange picture post:
Perhaps it's Chad Vader: the day shift manager (see youtube for this reference), and his trusty sidekick Sally Stormtrooper going out on the town in Scotland.....trying so very hard to blend in.
Regardless, definitely a Kilt DONT!
