Wouldn't you like to have heard THAT conversation...

The gent on the right is a two-fisted drinker... and the gent on the left is the piper. (They may ALL be pipers, but he's still carrying his pipes.)

Perhaps a small clash of cultures here?

OK - have to post this one. Two springs ago, I was the MC for a big Celtic benefit performance that our pipe band sponsored. I played in the finale but didn't have time to change into my kilt (bit of a clash between my dress and the bag cover...). Thought you'd get a kick out of it.

BTW - if any of you are in the upstate NY area on April 28, we're doing the benefit again, and I'll be MC again. If you like piping, Andrew Douglas (SFU) will be playing in both halves of the performance. I'll post the relevant info under the events header. Oh - it will be in Rome, NY at the Capitol Theatre.

This years St. Patrick's Day Parade... it was cold and snowy, we got 6 inches overnight, and it was a nice warm 23F.

I did not see alot of the parade, because i was inside helping a friend with her booth. Unfortunately the parade did not start on time, because the grand marshal had a heart attack. He is doing well from what we have heard...

I hope to post some of the Police Pipe band piping while going down the escalator.
